It also comes with the starter disable and fuel pump protection, and the flashing LED that warns away intruders. If the car is being violated the siren will be triggered, and the lights will flash. Plus it activates the double lock feature for added security.
As for the convenience, you will get to enjoy the keyless entry feature, which allows you to lock / unlock the doors and trunk with a push of a button using the stylish remotes. The best part about this system is that it plugs directly into your BMW alarm port** for easy installation.
**Most BMW’s are pre-wired for a security system. Usually, there is a sticker inside the trunk which indicates if your BMW is pre-wired for a security system. Depending on the year and model of your vehicle, the alarm port will be located in the following areas, behind the glove box, under the rear seat, or other location.
You can add sensors or accessories to create the ultimate system from the available options, such as window roll up module, trunk release module, motion sensor, glass sensor, or ultrasonic sensor.

***The New Style Key Remotes can be used with or without the key blanks. These keys will need to be cut at AAA locksmith to match your BMW key. If your BMW is built from 93-94 then when these keys are cut, it will function as your original key. If you BMW is built from 95-99 then these keys when cut will open the doors, trunk, and glove box but will NOT start your BMW, since these keys do NOT have a transponder. However, there is enough room to install a transponder chip inside these remotes if desired. Please review our Q & A Section for more information.
